Tranquil reflections of color and time welcome the rhythm of the waves. As time seems to stand still one wonders how many boats have come and gone.

Please, take a second and tell us your thoughts on this painting.

What others have said about Pier Reflections:

So vibrant and realistic . I just could see and feel the surface of the water shimmering and swaying in the gentle breeze. If only I could have painted such. Sighhhhh.

Please email me and let me know where when and how I may bid or buy right out some of the florida scenes...this artist is incrediable and I love his work please advise as soon as possible this is the kind of work I want on my walls at home thanks ron baker

I love being out at the beach or out on the boat during the summers. This painting reall captures how calm and cool the summers on the water really are. I also love the reflections.. everything looks to smooth and it all blends together really nicely.

I love any pictures of the water, boats, and beach. I have to say that this is my favorite due to the variety of colors and the crispness in the reflections. Such a beatiful feeling it leaves you with!

At first look I thought it was a photograph because it is so real! The detail is amazing and I am ecstatic at the amount of skill that you have.

Relections, Reflections, Reflections!! Done perfectly!

The shimmer on the water, the reflections...it is beautiful

I have been involved in the visual arts at my local high school including murals and other projects. I just got started working with oil paints and try to find inspiration from other artists, while all my artwork is a one of a kind original. I try to reflect certain styles of artists including similar perspectives and subject material. I say "if you want to be a master artist, learn from one" and I was amazed, as well as inspired by this wonderful artist who created this water scene. I am from Florida, so this painting seems familiar to some areas I've observed. Great job, wonderful artist! Dave

the mystic use of color allows for a powerful, yet quiet beauty

I chose this painting because it caught my attention right away and I like the whole atmosphere of the painting and it's simplicity. I thought it was a photograph!

I love the crystal clear vivid colors and their reflection in the water.

The artist Mr. Steve Hills has captured the reflections perfectly and the mood of the painting is superbly depicted by the deft strokes. A feeling of tranquility is more than evident.

It is so calming..I can see the light move on the water and I can hear the slapping water against the posts. I just love it and have bookmarked it to look at when I need a mental break.

Like the reflections. Realist, but almost abstract.

I can hear the water sloshing against the dock and smell the salty air. Reminds me of home - Bellport, Long Island.
